As part of its growth strategy, the church is in the process of constructing a 300-350 seater building for its services. The construction work is underway with the first phase of foundation work currently being done. The project is estimated to cost up to 1.5 billion shillings (approximately USD 400,000). When the children of Israel were called to give towards the building of the tabernacle in the wilderness, they “brought a freewill offering to the Lord, all the men and women whose hearts were willing to bring materials for all kinds of work which the Lord, by the hand of Moses, had commanded to be done.” Exodus 35:29. This is also our primary fund raising strategy; praying and believing that the Lord will abundantly bless His people and out of their abundance they will give generously towards this work. The church however also expects that there will be friends and partners from outside the local church who will join hands with us to finance this project.
